A Heart Filled With HOPE!

Image

Do you ever find yourself looking too closely at your circumstances?  You get so caught up in looking AT the circumstance that you don’t actually look through the circumstance.  You develop this whole idea of how you think it should be and then when it doesn’t turn out that way you throw up your hands.  You lose hope.  So often I am reminded that I am focusing on the wrong thing.  That I am not looking through to what is the truth.  Hope says for you to trust the truth.  That you are to renounce the lie and joyfully accept the truth.  The truth that you should have faith in God’s promises for your life.  To have absolute hope that God loves you enough to give you the desires of your heart.  That I must seek his truth and it will be filled with hope for all that is good.

I am truly blessed with the most amazing friends.  Friends who completely have my back and will tell me the truth (whether I want to hear the truth or not).  The ones that will make sure that not anything or anybody will hurt me in any way.  That will laugh and cry with me and show me what the true sense of friendship is all about.  Together we grow and have hope for what is yet to come.  They have taught me more about life and helped me grow into the woman I am.  Recently I read something in a book by Paulo Coelho from The Zahir:

“That is why it is so important to let certain things go. To release them. To cut loose. People need to understand that no one is playing marked cards; sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Don’t expect to get anything back, don’t expect your genius to be discovered or your love to be understood. Complete the circle. Not out of pride, inability, or arrogance, but simply because whatever it is no longer fits in your life. Close the door, change the record, clean the house, get rid of the dust. Stop being who you were and become who you are.”

My hope is that you will stop looking AT your circumstance and look through the circumstance.  That you know the truth.  That you learn like I have that you must focus on God and be who you are and not who you were.  When you do, you will have a heart that is filled with an abundance of HOPE, JOY AND LOVE!
